A zine (pronounced “zeen”) is a self-published booklet often created by cutting and gluing text and images together. Zinesters (people who make zines) tend to be motivated by a desire for self-expression.

Nonsense Zines

I am a bit irreverent by nature, a trait inherited from my paternal grandfather and my father. One of my favorite books as a child was The Stupids Step Out, a book about a family that does everything in a ridiculous fashion. I also loved to read limerick’s by Edward Lear, known for his works of literary nonsense. The zines below are my literary nonsense. Enjoy!

Interview for SF Zine Fest

I was interviewed by Solitaire Miguel for the 2020 San Francisco Zine Festival, where my zines were featured at their event. This was my first time participating in a zine festival, and because it was during a global pandemic, they held the event online. In 2022, they returned to hosting in-person events, so fortunately I was able to also table at my first ever live zine festival, which was a lot of fun.
